Academic advising is viewed as a developmental process guided by the following:

Students' role in the advising process:

• Be proactive: seek help and advice early in the semester.
• Understand the role of academic and faculty advisor.

• Become familiar with requirements for your major, minor, general education, and graduation.
• Update your student record when necessary (e.g. 更改地址、电话号码).
• Know your current grade point average, enrolled credits, and earned credit hours.

• Know that advisors are helpful and available during class registration and non-registration periods.

Navigate is a free mobile app designed to help you thrive at 澳门十大赌城官方网站. Navigate will remind you of important dates and to-dos, prompt you to register for classes and pay your tuition, 连接你的校园资源, and allow you to easily schedule appointments with University Advisors, 指导老师, 及其他大学职员.

访问导航学生

Download Navigate Student from your mobile phone's app store or access Navigate 在线 from a web browser. You can find a direct link on the Login Tab on FSU's website. Use your FSU username and password to login.

1. Know When Important Things are Coming Up.
   • From attending orientation to preparing for finals, there's a clear timeline of what you need to do. Navigate connects you to the links and resources you need to get things done. You (and your University Advisor and 教师的导师) can also add your own personalized to-dos!
2. 找到合适的人选.
   • My Major connects your interests and goals to the right major at the college--fill out a short survey and Navigate takes it from there!
3. 连接 to the Support You Need--Faster!
   • Have questions or run into a problem? Resources refer you to your designated support network, while Appointments gets you connected with the people who can help. Best of all, the appointments sync on your phone's calendar and you can receive text/email reminders.
4. 走在任何路障前面.
   • Holds on your student account could keep you from signing up for next semester's classes. Get notified when you have a hold on your account and resolve them directly in the Holds Center.
5. 充分利用大学.
   • Navigate proves all the steps to start college on the right foot. Get handy tips and tutorials on everything from getting involved in student organizations to paying for college, and discover what's going on around campus with notifications about events.

约会安排

Use the Navigate app to schedule appointments with your University Advisor, 教师的导师, 以及学生支持办公室.

• Log-in to Navigate with your FSU username and password.
• 选择“约会”.
• Select "Schedule an Appointment" at the bottom of the screen.
• Select details for your desired appointment.
  • You should schedule appointments with your assigned University Advisor or 教师的导师.
  • You can find your University Advisor and 教师的导师 in your Student Center in 爪子.
• You will see a screen that says "Review Appointment Details and Confirm". Select your preferred meeting type (in-person, virtual meeting, or by phone).
  • 点击“进度”.
• You will see a screen that shows "Appointment Scheduled".
  • Important: If you do not see an "Appointment Scheduled" screen, you do not have a confirmed appointment.
• A confirmation email with appointment instructions will be sent to your FSU student email account. You may also check for updates and messages in your Navigate app.
